How Do Our Fees Stack Up

Unfortunately there’s no NHS for pets! We make every effort to ensure that our fees are affordable to everyone and you can read more about this here. We recommend that your pet is insured for medical fees and for those unexpected bills we offer 0% finance, subject to status.

Veterinary practices are expensive places to run. Our practices employ 50 people over four sites of which there are 20 vets on a part or full-time basis. For every £1 of fees that are generated, 35p goes on wages, 20p on medicines, about 20p goes on tax, 20p on training & education, maintaining our premises, equipment leasing, rent, rates and finally about 5p is left for reinvesting in the practice and profit for the owners.

We invest heavily in our practice, because this is our vocation and our life as well as our business. You can see from our website, we give a great deal back to the community in terms of charitable support and services - we are very proud of our role in Highland life and our commitment to pet care.
