Vet2pet
Vet2pet home visits are an integral part of our service to clients who can't bring their animals to our clinic for routine check-ups. We believe that many pets find it less stressful, and their owners a lot more convenient, to have the vet come to them at home rather than be transported to the surgery. Vet2pet home visits can also be great for those clients who are housebound, have multiple pets, young families or transport difficulties. If you live in the Inverness area, our specially equipped vet2pet van can come to you Monday to Friday, for any form of routine work like check-ups and vaccinations. If you live in Inverness, North Kessock, Culloden or Balloch then there is usually no additional fee for a vet2pet visit, when you pre-book the appointment at least 24 hours in advance; outwith these areas there is nominal fee to cover mileage costs and same-day visits attract a supplementary fee. A veterinary nurse always accompanies the vet to your house but you must ensure that your cat is in a basket (or otherwise confined) or your dog is in one room of the house. A nurse will call you beforehand to let you know what time we'll be coming and to check the directions to your house.
Vet2pet house visits are a relaxed and easy way for you to have your pet's treatment – no fuss, no parking, no traffic, just let us come to you.
