Daniel Thom - Veterinary Surgeon
Daniel Thom BVMS MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Originally born in Inverness, Dan and his parents moved to Australia for 11 years when he was three years old. Having returned to Scotland during high school, Dan went on to graduate in July 2019 from the University of Glasgow and started working at Crown Vets Inverness in August the same year. Always having had an interest in surgery, this passion of Dan's developed throughout the formative years of his career. Dan is currently in the late stages of completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, involving theoretical exams and logging surgical cases seen over a period of years.

Dan aims to provide a diverse surgical service to the local and surrounding area, advising clients on the best options for their pets' health and welfare first and foremost. Dan has a keen interest in further developing both his Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic surgical skills and capabilities, as well as minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques for common routine procedures initially.

In his spare time Dan enjoys being active, going to the gym and spending time with his partner and black lab, Obi, on walks. Dan also enjoys watching the F1 (a household favourite), the NHL, or relaxing in the evening.
