Our nursing team at Crown Vets is comprised of eleven Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN's), two student Veterinary Nurses as well as two student Animal Nursing Assistants. All of our RVN's are accountable for their conduct and are subject to the standard set by the Veterinary Nurses Council. They are also regulated by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) therefore must comply with their Code of Conduct and undertake annual professional development to maintain their registration. Our nursing team are all professional individuals who possess wide and varied skill sets, they are often the best person placed to help you with your pet and any concerns you may have.
Members of our nursing team have undertaken additional training to allow them to train and mentor student Veterinary Nurses. We are very aware of how important it is to grow the Veterinary Nursing population by passing on essential skills and knowledge to future nurses. We actively encourage further training for our RVN's, therefore many members of our team are certificate holders in specific subjects that they take a keen interest in such as anaesthesia, nutrition, behaviour and feline nursing.
